Esperanza

Esperanza is a small town located in the center of the State of  Puebla, and near the highway that connects Veracruz and Puebla. This town isn't modern but it's a peaceful place and offers a great and a magnificent view of the hills and fresh air. Approximately 13,785 people were registered in 2020 but the population has grown in recent years. The people are friendly, kind, and accommodating. They celebrate their customs and traditions in the church "Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza". There are many celebrations during the year, e.g.:

• February 14 is the celebration of our Lady of the Hope. 
• May 15 is the celebration of San Isidro Labrador.
• December 12 is the celebration of the Virgin of Guadalupe and others.
